Pre-FEED

We provide global project planning for any type of user, helping to define the basic conditions for project implementation and so forth. We want you to have the clearest and most complete overview of the project before proceeding with any practical works.

FEED

We help with detailed analysis of the project including policy, market, technology, investment and other multiple perspectives to ensure everyone is on the same page.

Feasibility Study

We consider all of the project’s relevant factors to provide a detailed project analysis. This includes market analysis, technical analysis, policy analysis, and economic estimation, as well as offering guidance to complete all the relevant process procedures.

Hydrogen Liquefaction Plant

We use professional equipment and advanced technology to liquefy hydrogen. Our hydrogen liquefaction plant is mainly composed of a turboexpander, heat exchanger, compressor and parahydrogen converter, and other necessary equipment.

For different types of liquefied hydrogen plants, we use different technologies. Large-scale hydrogen liquefaction equipment mainly adopts the technical route of liquid nitrogen precooling and hydrogen turbo-expander unit, while small-scale hydrogen liquefaction equipment mostly adopts the technical route of helium turbo-expander refrigeration and J-T throttle valve liquefaction.

With Furui Energy’s maintenance solutions and services, you can rest assured that your LNG terminal operations will remain safe and successful.

Process Technology

A unique advantage of Furui Energy is having our own intellectual property (IP) for process tech, and we can choose between Trailer SMR or PRMR (C3MR) for different gas volume measurements.

Operation

Furui Energy has been operating liquefaction plants in China since 2012 and we have cultivated our own mature operations team over the years. Domestic projects are currently in the manufacturing and operation mode, whilst our overseas team has been operating the Malaysian project for a year to date.

Remote Operations Centre

Our remote operations centre has been in effect since 2021, greatly improving our allocation of resources. It reduces the number of personnel needed on-site and allows us to link up with the field in real time, efficiently and effectively sharing our operational advice to each liquefaction plant.

Spare Parts Sharing Centre

Each new liquefaction plant is equipped with a nearby sharing centre to provide a guarantee of sufficient spare parts should any incidents arise. The spare parts are readily available and transferable, minimising transportation costs. 

LNG Operating Service

Furui Energy can provide LNG operating services for both domestic and overseas owners. We could co-invest in the liquefaction plant with solid local energy owner. To date, Furui Energy has provided professional and trustworthy LNG operating services for more than 5 LNG plants in Mainland China and hope to expand to more places internationally.

Process technology: C3MR & SMR

The propane precooled mixed refrigerant (C3MR) process consists of two refrigeration cycles: a propane refrigeration cycle to cool gas from ambient temperatures to 235 ℃, and a mixed refrigerant (MR) cycle to liquefy the natural gas stream and subcool it to 2160 ℃. With an end flash system, the degree of subcooling is reduced to 2150 ℃. With extended end flash, subcooling is reduced to 2145 ℃.

Remote operation: security and control systems

Security System

Our security system encompasses leakage and splash control, internal overpressure protection, and emergency pressure relief devices which can shut down a whole set of equipment immediately in the case of any unpredictable events.

Leakage and splash control

We prevent the leakage of low-temperature substances to any adjacent pipes and equipment by means of heat insulation. For minimised stress, the valves near the LNG nozzles can also be operated remotely should a leakage occur.

Internal overpressure protection

We make sure to establish safety facilities in all places where there is a potential danger of internal overpressure, minimising the risk of overheating or burning in any areas.

Emergency pressure relief devices

We implement automatic or semi-automatic pressure relief systems to prevent any hazards caused by overpressure and abrupt temperature rises.

 Control System

 Furui Energy’s first-rate integrated safety control system is based on a Distributed Control System (DCS), Emergency Shutdown System (ESD), combustible gas detection and alarm system (GAS), a programmable logic controller (PLC) of each independent auxiliary unit, and field instruments using highway addressable remote transducer (HART) communication protocol.

We pride ourselves on our control system’s precision. All aspects required by natural gas liquefaction plant production are taken into account, including measurement, control, supervision and alarm, interlocking, and emergency shutdown. We strive to ensure the safest and most efficient operation of all stages of our production to put your mind at ease.
