On the afternoon of July 4, FRES successfully convened its 2025 Mid-Year Work Review Meeting to comprehensively summarize the progress made in the first half of the year and to plan key tasks for the second half.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Huang Feng, Chairman and General Manager of FURUI Special Equipment, along with other senior executives from the Group, Mr. Li Huaibing, General Manager of FRES, and heads of various functional departments. The session was chaired by Mrs. Ye Fang, Manager of the General Affairs Department.

 


At the meeting, representatives from various departments—including Finance, Procurement, Domestic Sales, Overseas Sales, LNG Trading, Technology, Overseas Projects, and General Affairs—along with project leaders, delivered their reports in turn. Each department provided a systematic summary of its work in the first half of the year, highlighted key achievements, conducted in-depth analysis of existing issues, and proposed targeted action plans. These efforts laid a solid foundation for achieving the company’s annual goals with full momentum.

After listening to the reports from the respective department heads, Mr. Li Huaibing, General Manager of FRES, delivered a comprehensive address outlining the company’s performance in the first half of 2025, as well as the business goals and work requirements for the second half of the year.
He proceeded to make detailed arrangements across four key dimensions: financial targets, market development, operational management and internal control, and learning and growth.
Mr. Li emphasized the overarching principle of “shifting mindset and pursuing high quality.” He called for a precise understanding of client pain points and the strengthening of specialized service capabilities to earn market recognition through high-quality solutions.
He also stressed the importance of talent development and cultural integration within domestic and international teams, encouraging respect for cultural differences across countries. By building an open, inclusive, and progressive platform, he aims to foster mutual understanding, shared goals, and collective strength among team members.
Furthermore, Mr. Li underscored the need for all employees to maintain a strong awareness of protecting and enhancing the FRES brand. Through exceptional service and technical excellence, he affirmed that FRES can achieve sustainable growth—not through price competition, but through value and professionalism.

In conclusion, Mr. Huang Feng, Chairman and General Manager of FURUI Special Equipment, carefully listened to the reports from each department and offered strategic guidance. He emphasized that “FRES, as the Group’s leading force in energy operations abroad and the upstream link of the LNG value chain, plays a pivotal role in advancing our overseas strategy.”
Mr. Huang acknowledged the phased achievements FRES has made in international markets, attributing them to the relentless efforts and dedication of the entire team. These accomplishments fully reflect the team’s ability to integrate resources—an essential competitive advantage for future success in the global market.
He then set forth the following key expectations:
Safety and environmental protection are the lifelines of an enterprise—only by upholding these principles can a company ensure long-term vitality. Mr. Huang emphasized the need to further promote reform and innovation, enhancing management efficiency through internal discipline and accountability. At the same time, he reiterated the importance of maintaining a low-cost operational strategy to strengthen FRES’s competitive edge as a service-oriented enterprise.
In addition, Mr. Huang placed particular emphasis on the power of teamwork. To fully leverage this, he stressed the importance of clear talent development policies and the establishment of a transparent promotion pathway, ensuring that every employee has a clear understanding of their career progression within the company.
"Only by firmly committing to our overseas development goals can we truly shoulder the responsibility of leading the Group’s global industrial expansion," Mr. Huang emphasized. "Enterprises and individuals share a common destiny. We must solidify our strategic planning and ensure the effective execution of overseas projects, carving out new ground in the face of global competition."
On the other hand, with regard to domestic projects, Mr. Huang stressed the importance of taking steady and well-grounded steps, firmly avoiding any form of simple replication. He emphasized the need to strengthen risk management, maintain a clear understanding of the company’s weaknesses, and effectively control related risks. In today’s complex and ever-changing market environment, it is especially critical to uphold a bottom-line mindset and embed risk prevention and control throughout the entire project lifecycle.
The successful convening of this meeting has charted a clear course for FRES’s work in the second half of the year, while greatly inspiring the enthusiasm and creativity of all employees.
